The 2026 Hollywood Fringe!Previewing the Largest Hollywood Fringe to date!

The Hollywood Fringe Returns with 2,150 performances, beginning with previews June 4th, 2026! Support Los Angeles Theatre today!

The Hollywood Fringe is back! One merely needs to walk through the streets of Hollywood to feel the beginning of festival fever that’s about to land in Los Angeles. With Fringe signs greeting you on every corner, the city is about to become immersed in theatre, drama, comedy, solo & stand-up, cabaret and immersive art. In and of itself, The Hollywood Fringe remains the brightest gem in the city’s performance crown. Since its inception in 2010, The Hollywood Fringe has grown to be one of the largest performance festivals in the United States, drawing ambitious and fiery performers from all over the world. If the state of the world is leaving you feeling isolated, angry and confused, The Hollywood Fringe festival is here to prove that you're not alone. Art, comedy, and release are just what the doctor ordered, and a trip to the Hollywood Fringe Festival is bound to cure a little of what ails you. LA Hidden Gems is here with a sneak peek of a few productions you are not going to want to miss. Please note that these productions are only a scant few of the over 400+ productions that are about to drop in the Hollywood area next month, and if you see something interesting, grab your ticket now, because as the Fringes of 2024 and 2025 proved, these shows sell out quicker than you can say, “hold my taco.” That of course is an in joke because everyone at Fringe knows that the best tacos in town are served festival-round outside the Three Clubs, on Santa Monica & Vine.

Among the many solo shows being presented this season, be on the lookout for two fringe solo veterans, Kelly Mullis, whose Marilyn Monroe wowed the Fringe in 2018, returns with her autobiographical Army Brat, and Pam Levin returns with Sperm Assassination, a rebrand of her show, Tales of Modern Motherhood. They will be joined by Alice Cutler, whose Inconceivable won “Best Newcomer” at The Whitefire Theatre’s Solofest. I also cannot wait to see Gretchen Wylder’s 2026 Salem Witch Trial, Brendan Scannell’s The Abyss, Ben Fisher’s Ball Boy and a return of Being the Perfect Woman, written and starring Ashley Diaz, winner of the LA Hidden Gem’s Incandescence Award at the 2026 “30 Minutes or Less Festival.”

As you can see, the solo crew is hard at work, as are the rest of the Class of 2026! Tuesday Conner and Gia Scott-Heron are returning with the Gil Scott-Heron Bluesology, winner of the 2024 International Fringe Festival Encore Series Award. Another major star returns to the Fringe, and that star is “classic theatre.” There are scads of shows focusing on the Bard and his works, including, Hamlet in 60 Minutes, Get Thee to a Beanery and Leaving Shakespeare. There are also shows featuring the works of Moliere (Tartuffe in 60 Minutes), August Wilson (The Complete and Abridged Works of August Wilson), and a queer reimagining of John Patrick Shanley’s masterpiece, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea. There will also be spooky theatre, heavy drama and the all-too popular clown shows, including; I am a Snail, Dead Man, and Apocalypse Clowns.

It is time however, to name my three Gems of the Fest:

Guaranteed you will want to buy your tickets very early for Reservoir Dolls: the Whole Bloody Affair, Will Thomas McFadden’s Club Clown and Nilbog! The Troll 2 Musical. Both Reservoir Dolls and Club Clown feature large and/or rotating casts and look to be hilarious, but if you’ve never seen Troll 2, arguably one of the worst films ever made in the history of cinema, there can't be anything that they can do to a musical version that's not going to make you turn green with laughter, so don’t let us down, y’all!

Get your tickets for your favorite shows now! See you all at The 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival!
